One word sums up our month: baseball. From the moment spring arrived, the boys have been playing baseball. Practices began mid month, with Jevon managing Ryker's rookie team and Deklan returning as a veteran in the tball league. They have been slugging the ball, fielding, throwing, and making new friends on their teams. It's been so fun to watch them grow and mature. Thinking back to last year, Deklan was too afraid to have his picture taken without me holding him; this year he strutted out to the field and posed with swagger. Ryker was once the shy boy on his team and now is quick to chat with all of his teammates. Kinsley has been a supportive little sister, going to all the games and some practices and relaxing to the sounds of the ballpark...what a trooper!

Love that he still waves to us when he's in the field!

Deklan's new buddy, Bennett. These two are peas in a pod; both of their big brothers are teammates and now B & D are teammates.
Off to another game, Daddy?
We finished CBS for the year. The boys both praised with all their hearts in their end of year programs. This mama was beaming as the boys worshiped Jesus.
We also wrapped up school for Ryker. We celebrated our kindergarten grad by going out to his choice: Chipotle and frozen yogurt.

Deklan has turned into a huge helper around the house. A bit of a chip off the o.c.d. block, he has been cleaning up all by himself (and reprimanding his brother for not doing likewise). Ryker continues to read more and more words. Both the boys are still head over heels for their little sis. They get so excited with each progression in mobility that she makes. It's so fun to see them cheer her on.

April has been a homerun. Looking forward to even nicer weather and more outside fun this May. Here are a few more pics from our fun month:

Yep, this is what the "real" photos look like...about time one made it onto the blog.
The perfect storm: mom runs out of diapers and clothing after two blow outs...while we are on the road. This face sums up everything.
